Im best friends with this guy.We talk all the time when he's online, and talk on the phone for hours every night.I say hi to him at school, and we talk for a few minutes.He says he's "too shy to talk to me in person." He says im cool, and when we dont talk on the phone, he sends a message on myspace or a txt saying "i miss talking to you." He always writes me first on myspace. He always jokes around saying "yea your hot".Does he like me and is hiding it?

can it be more obvious? of course he has feelings for you deep down and he's kinda shy to reveal it to you because he is hesitant if you will accept him or turn him down.
is he afraid of rejection? If yes then probably that is the reason why.
If you know you like him too then go for it don't waste any time. And if you don't have any for him then start talking to him so that you can stop all his longings so that he can move on and find another girl.

Yeah he probably does like you. But why don't you talk in person!? A relationship based on the phone, online, etc is not a actual realtionship...you need to ask him what he's so afraid of talking and discussing things with you in person rather then a text or myspace comment.
